But what is the most money you genuinely heard of someone paying for a standard ticket to the last game at the Boleyn?
I don't mean rumours you heard on Twitter!

I paid 450 for England v Germany in Charleoi in Euro 2000
Although I thought I was buying 2 for that price
In a real touch the seller let me off one otherwise I'd have paid 900 for 2

Had to pay £30 for a cup final ticket in 1975
Quite a lot really back in those days.

Most I have ever paid a tout was a pony for seats of our game v CFC in 1988... most I have seen change hands was a monkey for Cup Final Tickets in 06

I paid £5 to a tout at White Hart Lane in the days when you got change From £1 for 3 at The turnstyles.
I flogged a cup final ticket for £15 when I got one off my Sunday league team, was going to go but was made an offer at work Sunderland v Leeds.

I paid $800 (about £300) for a final ticket to the 2003 World Cup from a grumpy Kiwi.

Someone I know paid £300 to a mate of his who was a tout. He told me he had arranged it the day before but when he turned up on the day the guy asked for £1000. He kicked off and because they knew each other he only paid the agreed £300.
